Park Locals
This page is dedicated to the many skaters that
spend a lot of time at the park. The list includes Moss, Josh, Gabe,
Matt (we hope he comes back), Dave, Bryan, Caleb, Aaron, Fonz, Leif,
Keefe, Kenny, Zack, Stefan, Conner, Chris, Steve, Julie, Marge,
Jefferson, Tim, Blake and a ton of others that I'm forgetting right
now. Here's a small sampling. Thanks to Justin and Nikki Jason for
most of these pics. If you're a local send
me your picture and I'll post it.

Kenny Coombs has a huge bag of tricks and a relaxed
style that makes it all look easy. The best part is he smiles
the whole time he's skating. Transfer from the oververt pocket
to tail.
|
Zach Powell defines the word gnarly. He skates fast
and will go for it even if it results in a world-class slam.
Stand-up 50-50 through the corner.
|

Tracy Kitts is old and wears smelly pads.
And, I think it's funny to talk about myself in third person.
Rock-n-roll on the eight.
|

Leif Wakefield is one of the most consistent skaters
at the park and will work on a trick until it's completely
wired. Stylish frontside on a wall three times his size.
|

Matt Dyke is currently out west, but will
always be considered a local. He helped build the park! Matt
tears through anything that's in front of him with blinding
speed, sick lines and smooth style. He also inspires those
around him to skate harder. Hype it up!
|
|

Justin Jason has made the Athens park his
own with crunching grinds, speed lines and airs. Frontside
air in the corner.
|

Nikki Jason makes the trip from Columbus
regularly. She gives the phrase "skate like a girl" a whole
new meaning. Airing out of the 8.
|
|

Evan Hendershot flat out rips. He and his
twin brother are quickly becoming standouts at the park. Evan
does perfect frontside 5-0 grinds that bark, pulls big frontside
airs and does it all with style.
|

Jeremy Hendershot skates with tons of energy
and pulls tricks off that you can't. He's noted for his decked
out rock-n-rolls, boardslides and he makes backside disasters
look easy. You're not seeing double. Jeremy, and his twin
brother Evan, both rip.
|

Sam Jones is out at the park frequently and is starting
to tear it up. Hitting the lip with style.
|

Cole Bird hones his skills at Skatopia and shows
up at the Athens park to tear it up. Sizeable frontside air
over the hip.
|

Chris Seymour has a ton of pop and even more speed.
Flying a big stalefish over the pyramid.
